Janine Getler’s career as an attorney began in 1991 when she was admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, but her experience in law actually began five years earlier when she worked as a researcher in the Municipal Bond Department for Standard & Poor’s Corporation. Professional Background

Janine Getler stayed with Merrill Lynch for several years before moving for a bit into academia at Brooklyn Law School where she worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Norman Poser and assisted in the research and writing of a book focused on broker-dealer liability issues. After she earned her Juris Law degree from Brooklyn Law School, Janine took on a role with Beattie Padovano as an associate. Here, her duties included land use and residential real estate transactions, research and brief writing for litigation cases, and the representation of large companies in litigation.

After nearly three years with Beattie Padovano, Janine Getler made a move to Price, Meese Shulman & D’Arminio, a Land Use and Litigation firm where she worked as a Senior Associate, specializing in zoning and planning work and handling title review work and representation of her clients.
